A very distant starboard side view of the passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored in Hardangerfjord off the village of Oystese, near Norheimsund, Norway
A very distant starboard broadside view of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored in Hardangerfjord off the village of Oystese, near Norheimsund, Norway. The photographer is on a shore excursion from the ship and is looking south-east-by-south showing the octagonal Ingebrigt Vik Museum building which was opened in 1934. Beyond it is the parish church. A small steamship is heading towards the shore and the mountains in the background have patches of snow on them.
