The passenger cruise ship Viceroy of india (1929) anchored in Hardangerfjord off the village of Oystese, near Norheimsund, Norway

A distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) anchored offshore in Hardangerfjord off the village of Oystese, near Norheimsund, Norway. The photographer is on a shore excursion from the ship and he is looking at one of the ship's motor lifeboats loaded with passengers alongside a wharf which has a crowd of people on it. The warehouse on the wharf has "Oystese Handelsforening" on it. The mountains in the background have patches on snow on them.
