Two cargo or fishing vessels under sail in the old harbour at Palma, Majorca. They are seen from fine off the starboard quarter as they sail in line abreast and they both have lateen sails set. The smaller craft is a registered fishing vessel and appears to be single masted with a crew of two. The large vessel is two masted and has a substantial deck cargo of bagged produce. One of her crew is high up the fore lateen sail yard brailing the sail to the yard. The Sant Pere Bastion and the church of Santa Creu are in the left background and the Llotja De Palma cultural centre is in the right background.
