On the square tower is the name Italia and above the three ground floor arches on the left are the titles Italia Flotte Riuniti, Italian Line and Navigazione Libera Triestino. On the right is the title Pacific Steam Navigation Company and above the entrance in the flank wall is the title Royal Mail Lines Ltd. Two motor cars and a horse-drawn carriage are in front of the building and on the railings is a sign shaped like a cogwheel for Rotary International. Another sign on the railings is a direction sign for Canal Zone Restaurant. Negative number P94124 shows the same building before 1932 when Italia was known as N.G.I. (Navigazione General Italiana).
