On the right is the building occupied by Italia Flotte Riuniti, Italian Line, Navigazione Libera Triestino, Pacific Steam Navigation Company and Royal Mail Lines Ltd. Motor cars, a motor lorry and a U.S.A. ambulance are on the palm tree lined main road. At the end of the road are commercial premises including the French Bazaar and the shop of J.V. Beverhoudt selling periodicals, souvenirs and stationery. Yardley Lavender and Cognac Martell are being advertized. The top right part of the negative is missing.
