A close view of the starboard bridge wing of the Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) at Panama.
A close view of the starboard bridge wing of the Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) alongside a quay at Panama. The photographer is on the quay close alongside the ship looking up and slightly aft showing the projecting bridge wing. The forward accommodation ladder has been lowered using the forward davit of number 3 lifeboat. The ship is dressed overall and is depicted in all white livery with the modifications to the promenade decks enclosures that were made prior to the start of the 1937 cruising season. It is not known if the ship is at Cristobal at the north end of the canal or at Balboa at the south end.
