Wooden hulled, single masted, lug rigged lighters alongside the godowns in George Town harbour, Penang Island, Malaya. The nearest lighter is seen from off her starboard quarter and she has P26 painted on her transom. She has a cargo of sacks and her cargo is being worked by a large number of men with cloths over their heads. Other lighters are alongside and two are drying sails.
