A secluded beach on the coast north-north-west of Philippeville, Algeria.
A secluded beach on the coast north-north-west of Philippeville, Algeria. The photographer is looking south-east from the cliffside footpath showing the beach on the right with the footpath winding round the small headland. Philippeville can be seen beyond the headland and the tall tower of the Hotel de Ville (Town Hall) can just be made out. An Orient Line passenger cruise ship is anchored in the bay and the two breakwaters of the harbour can be seen beyond her stern.
