The Hotel Formentor on the Cap de Formentor on the north side of Pollenza Bay, Mallorca, Balearic Islands. The photographer is looking north from on board the Orient line passenger cruise ship Orford (1928) which is anchored out in the bay. The exclusive Hotel Formentor was completed 1929-1930. One of the ship's motor boats is approaching from the shore.
