Single-masted sailing vessels moored alongside the shore in the harbour at Port-au-Prince, Haiti
Single-masted sailing vessels moored alongside the shore in the harbour at Port-au-Prince, Haiti. They are moored bow-on or stern-on to the shore and produce is laid out on the quayside, either ready for loading or having been discharged. Some of the people on the quayside are probably traders selling their goods. In the background are the masts of schooners and the 2-masted schooner on the right has a heavy list to port.
