The harbour and town of Portofino, Italy

The harbour and town at Portofino, Italy. The photographer is looking north-west-by-west from the south side of the harbour showing a single masted yacht at anchor in the foreground with other similar yachts beyond it. The yacht's mast has a substantial bend in it and her deck is protected by awnings. A number of rowing boats are next to the harbour wall which has a petrol pump on it. The church of San Martino is to the right of centre and its clock is reading 10.45. The premises fronting the harbour include the Ristorante Rolando. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
