The harbour and town of Portofino, Italy

The harbour and town at Portofino, Italy. The photographer is looking north-west-by-north from the south end of the Strada Statale on the south side of the harbour showing fishing nets laid out on the promenade to dry. Small boats are laid up at the back of the promenade and a single masted yacht and rowing boats are moored or anchored in the harbour. The buildings on the opposite side of the harbour are fronting the Calata Marconi and some have washing hanging out to dry. The church of San Martino is in the centre and the clock is reading 10.46.
