The monument to Hernando de Magallanes in the Plaza de Armas in Punta Arenas, Chile. This monument is the work of the Chilean sculptor Guillermo Córdoba, was erected in the Plaza de Armas in 1920, and was donated to the city by the tycoon José Menéndez.. The figures on the plinth represent Fuegians including the Ona and Tehuelches people of Patagonia. The Patagonia side is facing the camera. A vertical format negative.
