An elegant stone-built residence at Punta Arenas, Chile.
An elegant stone-built residence at Punta Arenas, Chile. This two-storey building has a wireless mast on the roof and a first floor balcony. Fixed to the corner of the building is a carved figure, possibly a former ship's figurehead, depicting a well endowed topless female with her right hand shielding her eyes from the sun, apparently on the lookout. It is possible that this building may be the residence of a harbour master or something similar.
