A mastless junk under sweeps on the Rangoon River at Rangoon, Burma.

A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of a mastless junk under sweeps on the Rangoon River, Rangoon, Burma. Four crew are standing using sweeps, two on each side of the vessel. The junk has a woven bamboo canopy over the aft end and one of the crew is standing on it. There is very little to be seen in the background. The negative is slightly out of focus.
