The north side of the harbour at Rapallo, Italy
The north side of the harbour at Rapallo, Italy. The photographer is on the west side of the harbour looking north-east from the base of a fortified wall showing the Rapallo Castle close to the harbour side under the tree branch. To the right of the castle is the arched facade and bell tower of the former church and convent of Santa Chiara da Montefalco which closed in 1902 and became used as barracks and a warehouse. The buildings on the north side of the harbour are slightly out of focus.
