The Cristoforo Colombo monument and the north side of the harbour at Rapallo, Italy
The Cristoforo Colombo monument and the north side of the harbour at Rapallo, Italy. The photographer is looking north-north-east from the east side of the Torrente Boate showing the monument to Cristoforo Colombo, a bronze statue on a stone plinth with two bronze groups of people sculpted by Arturo Dresco in 1914 on the left in front of the Bagni Lido. Fronting the Via Agostino Giustiniani is the Savoia Hotel and behind it is the distinctive bell tower and cupola of the Church of Saints Gervasio and Protasio. In the centre at the corner of the Lungomare Vittorio Veneto is the Albergo Ristorante and the Rosa-Bianca Hotel and Restaurant.
