At anchor outside the breakwaters are the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company passenger cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) on the left and the Cunard Line passenger cruise ship Carinthia (1925) on the right. The Viceroy of India (1929) isseen from off her port beam. The Carinthia (1925) is seen from just ahead of her port beam, is dressed overall and has a black hull with white superstructure. Steam trawlers and cargo ships are in the harbour and a coal transporter is on the right of the picture.
