Shipping in the harbour at Reykjavik, Iceland.
Shipping in the harbour at Reykjavik, Iceland. The photographer is looking north-east from high ground over the rooftops of the town to the harbour. Alongside a quay on the left are fishing trawlers and the Danish Navy fishery protection vessel Fylla (1915) seen from off her starboard bow. Other trawlers and some cargo ships are alongside wharves and the breakwater and the coal transporter is on the right. The Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) is at anchor outside the breakwater. She is seen from off her port broadside and is dressed overall.
