The Laekjartorg Square at Reykjavik, Iceland. The photographer is looking east-by-north from the west side of Laekjargata showing a number of motor vehicles and many pedestrians. An ornate cast iron shelter is in the middle of the road. Government House is on the rightt with the staues of Hannes Hafstein (1861-1922) on the front lawn on the right and Christian IX (1818-1906) on the front lawn on the left. In the left background is the statute of Ingolfur Arnarson on the top of Arnarholl. The clock on the left is reading 11.31.
