The Austurstraeti from Laekjargata at Reykjavik, Iceland. The photographer is looking west along the Austurstraeti showing a few motor vehicles and a large number of pedestrians. A bank is on the right corner and at the end of the road is Thorvaldsens Bazar. The building on the left corner is occupied by Arni B. Bjornsson. Further down the south side of the road is a building displaying an United States flag, an Apotek (pharmacist) and a Soffiubud outlet.
