The monument to Ingolfur Arnarson on the top of Arnarholl, Reykjavik, Iceland. He is traditionally recognized as the founder of Reykjavik in 874 A.D. and the monument was erected in 1907. The statue is on a substantial stone plinth that appears to be much larger than justified by the size of the sculpture. A vertical format negative.
