Shipping in Mandraki harbour, Rhodes.
Shipping in Mandraki harbour at Rhodes. The photographer is looking north-west from the east side of the harbour showing small boats, caiques and 2-masted schooners berthed on the east side of the harbour. One of the schooners has her head sails and foresail set. A medieval windmill is near the end of the east breakwater with the Agios Nikolaos fortress and lighthouse beyond it. In the left background on the west side of the harbour is the Evangelismos Church and bell tower which were completed in 1925.
