The photographer is looking north-west from the south-east corner of the harbour showing a number of caiques and 2-masted schooners berthed in the south-west corner of the harbour. In the right background is the Evangelismos Church and bell tower built in 1925 and next to it is the Governor's Palace built in 1927.
