A port quarter view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) alongside the Eastern Jetty at Immingham, Lincolnshire
A port quarter view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) alongside the Eastern Jetty at Immingham, Lincolnshire. The photographer is on the jetty close to the ship's stern looking along the jetty showing a special boat train with the headcode 2503, hauled by the London and North Eastern Railway class B4 4-6-0 locomotive number 6104 which was built in 1906 for the Great Central Railway. A brow is in position between one of the ship's lower decks and the quayside and passenger's baggage is being handled in cargo nets using the ship's own derricks. The stern of the ship is out of the picture.
