The Sugar Loaf at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The photographer is looking south-by-west from on board the Swedish passenger cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) which is inward bound in Guanabara Bay. He is on the port side above the boat deck alongside the forward funnel looking aft showing lifeboats 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 in their davits. The Urca residential district is on the coast below the Morro Da Urca on the right.
