Castries town and harbour, St. Lucia, West Indies. The photographer is looking north-north-east from the hill to the south of the harbour showing two 2-masted schooners alongside the wharf in the centre. The store building on the wharf is roofless. A 2-masted schooner is under sail entering the harbour, almost hidden by tree branches. One of the buildings in the town is a gargae advestising 'Firestone' and the Vigie Peninsula is in the background. A vertical format negative.
