Cargo sloops in Castries harbour, St. Lucia, West Indies.
Two cargo sloops berthed abreast alongside a wharf in Castries harbour, St. Lucia, West Indies. They are both seen from well abaft the starboard beamand the inboard sloop has a pointed stern with tiller rudder and is drying her mainsail. The outboard sloop is the locally built and owned Lindsyd (1935) and she has a flat transom with an inboard rudder. Rowing boats are on the left. Motor cars are people are on the wharf and facing the wharf are two ornate buildings, one named Royal Court and one flying the U.S. flag is occupied by Peter & Co. On the right is a building with E.
