The United States Lighthouse Service base at La Puntilla, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The photographer is looking north from a cruise ship in San Juan Bay showing the waterfront of the Lighthouse Service base and alongside the end of the quay to the right of centre is a buoy tender, possibly the Acacia (1920) or the Spruce (1920). In the right background is the Banco Comercial De Puerto Rico with the Hotel Palace beyond it. The negative is very slightly out of focus.
