The United States Lighthouse Service base at La Puntilla, San Juan, Puerto Rico. The photographer is on boarda passenger cruise ship in the harbour looking north-by-west showing the Lighthouse Service quay at the south end of the base. A large number of navigation buoys are on the quay and are stored in a yard on the right. The Old Town and El Morro Castle are in the background.
