A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) anchored in Geirangerfjord off Merok, Norway. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged to the main deck aft. Lifeboats 17 and 19 have been launched and seaboat number 1 has been swung out and lowered to boat deck level. The ship is emitting a faint column of smoke from her funnel. There are patches of snow on the mountain in the right background.
