A port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord.

A port bow view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. She has both anchors deployed and an accommodation ladder is rigged to her main deck aft. The ship is emitting a column of smoke from her funnel and she has the Norwegian flag at the starboard yardarm on her foremast. Two of the ship's oared lifeboats are in the foreground manned almost entirely by passengers. They are doing their best to row but the oars are not in unison. Negatives numbers P84420 to P84439 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
