A distant port broadside view of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord with one of her lifeboats in the foreground. She has an accommodation ladder rigged to the main deck aft. One of her manual lifeboats, seen from fine off the starboard quarter, is under ten oars and is manned almost entirely by passengers who are taking part in a race with other passenger manned boats. Negatives numbers P84420 to P84439 inclusive were taken on the same occasion.
