The seafront at a location which is said to be Santa Cruz.
The seafront at a location which is said to be at Santa Cruz. A building projecting out from the shore on the left is the premises of a fruit company whose sign mentions Paris and Birmingham and behind it is a building under construction. Small open boats are drawn up of the beach and a stack of wicker baskets are near them. The promenade is built on a stone wall above the beach and it has a decorative stone column balustrade along the length of it. A building to the left of centre has "Cervantes" on it. Buildings in the background have distinctive steeples, towers or domes but none of these can be matched with either Santa Cruz de la Palma or Santa Cruz de Teneriffe. The land in the background is low and this eliminates Santa Cruz de le Palma but the hill range on the right is close to the hill shape north of Santa Cruz de Teneriffe.
