A roll film negative showing an elevated quayside view, from the port side, looking down onto the after part of the deck of an unidentified sailing ship moored on the River Tyne during the Tall Ships Race in 1993. The image shows a companionway leading down inside the ship, the binnacle and the wheel, two silver storage lockers on the port side of the ship. The main and mizzen masts are also visible with standing rigging and furled brown sails. Next to the mizzen mast is a pile of boxes with a silver metal grate on top.
