Shipping in the Bay of Santander, Cantabria, Spain.

Shipping in the Bay of Santander, Cantabria, Spain. The photographer is looking across the bay showing a distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of a four hold general cargo vessel just under way. She has two masts and a single funnel which has the marking of a dark cross on a white band. At anchor further out in the bay is a similar general cargo ship with a funnel logo that looks like a defaced C. On the left is a single masted sailing vessel with a crew three; one man is sitting on the bow by a bowsprit, one man is at the head of the mast and the third is sitting in the stern. A small triangular staysail is set.
