On board the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) in the anchorage off Thira, Santorini Island, Greece. The photographer is on the aft promenade deck looking to starboard and aft showing passengers at the rail looking towards the harbour and landing place of Thira. Two cargo winches are on the deck. The town of Thira is just visible at the top of the cliffs.
