The photographer is looking north-east from a cruise ship's boat off shore showing the breakwater, quay and landing place with a motor lifeboat alongside the landing. The zigzag flight of steps on the cliff face leading up to the town are clearly seen. The negative has very slight image movement. A vertical format negative.
