The overall greyness of the sky is echoed in the depiction of the heavy storm clouds. Everett sailed in the Greek-owned steamer, 'Panaghis M. Hadoulis', from Cardiff, Wales, to Montevideo, Uruguay, and back between December 1931 and March 1932.
