The Royal Navy battleship Malaya (1915) at anchor in the Solent, Hampshire.
A slightly distant port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the Royal Navy battleship Malaya (1915) at anchor in the Solent, Hampshire. She has an awning rigged aft. On the right is the forepart of a large clipper bowed motor yacht. In the distance on the left and seen from abaft her port beam is a 2-funneled, cruiser sterned passenger liner which is possibly the Pennland (1922). The photographer is looking into a low sun and these vessels are seen almost in silhouette.
