The photographer is on a shore excursion from a cruise ship looking along the waterfront showing a number of steam, motor and sailing craft moored in the corner with some people on the quayside on the right. 3-storey warehouses and other buildings face the harbour. Names that are identifiable on the buildings include Joh. Rasmussen & Racine A/S, Kafe Rogaland and Paul Paulsen.
