The general cargo steamship Sollund (1908) seen from fine off her starboard bow, is alongside the south end of the Strandkaien, possibly on charter to Det Bergenske Dampskibsselkab as she is wearing their funnel colours. Further along the Strandkaien and seen from off her port bow is the Viceroy of India (1929). Buildings fronting the Strandkaien include the Matsaloets Kafe and the White Bear.
