On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company vessel Viceroy of India (1929) under way heading for Stockholm, Sweden, in the archipelago east of the city. The photographer is on the starboard side of the promenade deck aft looking aft showing many passengers sitting in deck chairs, standing about, playing deck tennis and playing quoits. One young lady has a number 129 label hanging round her neck. The land astern is heavily wooded. A vertical format negative.
