On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company vessel Viceroy of India (1929) under way heading for Stockholm, Sweden, in the archipelago east of the city. The photographer is on the centreline of the forward promenade deck in front of the bridge looking forward and to port showing some passengers on the forecastle deck.
