A roll film negative showing a quayside view looking at the after deck from the port side of the brig Astrid (1918). A group of the crew are sitting or standing by the binnacle, wheel and falls of the mainsheets. Moored next to Astrid is the Johann Smidt (1974), where two liferings and a rolled up German ensign attached to the stern guardrails. Part of the Baltic Flour Mill can be seen on the opposite bank.
