The waterfront in the Norrmalm district of Stockholm, Sweden.

The waterfront in the Norrmalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. The photographer is looking east-by-south from the Stromgatan showing five open fishing boats moored bow-on to the quay. Each boat has a boom over the stern from which a net is suspended. Passenger ferries are berthed alongside the Sodra Blasieholmskajen. The Grand Hotel is on the left and the National Museum is on the right. On a lamp post in the left foreground is a poster advertising Modern Swedish Art 1 July - 15 Sept. but unfortunately no year is given.
