The Saltsjon and Gamla Stan at Stockholm, Sweden.
The Saltsjon and Gamla Stan at Stockholm, Sweden. The photographer is looking west-north-west from the Fafangan in the Sodermalm district showing the wharves of the Stadsgardsleden hidden by trees on the left. Skeppsholmen island is on the right and the Swedish cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) is at moorings in the Saltsjon. She is dressed overall and her stern is facing the camera. The spire of the German Church on Gamla Stan is in the centre background and to the left of it is the iron spire of the Riddarholmen Church. Between the two is the square tower of the City Hall in the Kungsholmen district.
