The Strait of Magellan from on board the Swedish cruise ship Gripsholm (1925) during one of her annual cruises to South American waters. The photographer is looking forward from the starboard side of the forward superstructure showing the foremast, starboard samson post and forecastle. She has a large wooden pontoon on her deck. The land in the background is almost hidden in the mist. A vertical format negative.
