On board the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company cruise ship Viceroy of India (1929) in a fjord in the Svartisen Glacier region of Norway. The photographer is on the port side of the games deck looking forward and to port showing passengers leaning on the ship's rail. In the foreground is one of the deck chocks for a motor tender which were not carried on every voyage. Heavily wooded slopes and mountain peaks are in the background. A vertical format negative.
