The two Australian Navy sloops Yarra (1935) and Swan (1936) are at moorings in Farm Cove and the destroyer leader Stuart (1918) with two V & W class destroyers are alongside Garden Island. Both of the Australian heavy cruisers, the Australia (1927) and the Canberra (1927), are in port, one is at anchor in Farm Cove and the other is under the sheerlegs alongside Garden Island.
